Peace in the midst of YOUR storm (Part six)

Everything that happens to us is not always God's doing!

By the same token, it is not always the Devils doing. In fact, he gets more credit that he deserves. When a problem comes up, we automatically blame the Devil and since he is a deceiver, he'll take the credit.

If our car runs out of gas on the way to church, you probably didn't check the gas gage. It wasn't a satanic attack.

If you bounce the rent check. God wasn't necessarily testing you; you may have spent too much for Christmas or you may not have good math skills.

If you slip in your driveway and break your arm on Sunday Morning. It may be that you didn't shovel and salt your driveway. It doesn't mean that Satan was trying to prevent revival.

Your financial problems may be because you spend more than you make.

You may have lost your job because you were late to work too often or you did a poor job.

Perhaps you were in a job you weren't cut out for.

It wasn't a trick of the devil you car may have been repo'd because you bit off more than you can chew when you bought it.

You may be having trouble finding work because you have a poor track record. Perhaps you change jobs too much or you are applying for the wrong job.

I'd love to be Vice President of the research and ' development department at 3M. However, I'm not qualified for it.

Your children are misbehaving because they are kids, and kids misbehave.

I cannot expect a 3-year old act like a 12-year old.

A 3 year old has a shorter attention span, as he gets older, he'll sit longer and longer in church.

My 16-year old can sit through church very well, afterwards, he'll tell you what went on. But ask him to clean his room, 10 minutes later he's reading the paper or playing a game. He forgot all about his room. He is just a kid. A kid that is grounded, but a kid nevertheless.

Bad things happen to good people! Why, I don't know! The sunshines on the evil and the good, the rain falls on the just and the unjust.

We need to learn to deal with the good and the bad!
