Is Iran planning an apocalyptic strike against Israel for August 22nd?
It's a question concerning a growing number of Israeli leaders and U.S.
officials in the White House, at CIA, and the Pentagon, and for good
reason.
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad believes the end of the world is
fast approaching. He believes the way to hasten the coming of the
Islamic Messiah is to launch a catastrophic global jihad -- first
against Israel (the "little Satan") and then against the U.S. (the
"Great Satan").
In recent days, he has been sending hints that Iran will answer the
United Nations regarding its nuclear program on August 22nd. That
happens to be a very significant date for Muslims, as it is the
anniversary of the supposed "night flight" by Mohammed from earth to
heaven and back from Jerusalem's Temple Mount.
Some experts believe Ahmadinejad's "response" could come in the form of
an apocalyptic attack on Israel
