What is interesting to note is that Mary and Joseph did not live in Bethleham, it was their family home, but not where they lived, so God moved upon Ceasar, and he ordered this tax census. So Mary and Joseph went to Bethleham: strange, the timing was just in time for the birth of the Messiah, in the place prophecied!

Oh, some shepherds came and worshipped him.
Later some wise men came, but the bible does not specify just when they showed up.
But other than that, no one really noticed that first Christmas.
Many were looking for him, and they missed his arrival!
The first Christmas was easy to miss. But today, you cannot miss it! Its in your face! I've heard Christmas ads in September and the band I play in starts working on our Christmas Concert in OCTOBER!
