You see the stakes are much higher for this preparation.
We need to be ready to meet him ourselves AND help others to be ready for his return. Some have a better idea of how to prepare for a great Christmas celebration than they do for the rapture.
After all, Christmas preparations, if you boil them down, are pretty basic:
- Put up the tree
- Striing the lights
- Break a few bulbs
- Hang the ornaments
- Decorate the house
- Purchase and wrap the gifts
- Make plans with the family
- Maybe evern attend a church service
- Cook
- Bake
- Clean up
There are many other things that make Christmas far more elaborate and far more busy.
However, whether or not we are ready for it, Christmas will come!
Whether we are ready for it or not, Jesus will come again!
