Let's give it up for Christian Life Center in ST CLOUD!

CLC St Cloud had an amazing weekend with excellent and I mean excellent press coverage.

There were two stories, count them folks... the story was in the On line addition twice and in the Sunday Print addition! The On LIne addition had two different headlines with an awesome opening statement - including a link to their web page.  That is huge.

Bro Grey showed me the Sunday St Cloud Times and the article about them was an above the fold article, front and center of the section. If you don't know, newspapers only put the biggest or mose exciting story front and center ''above the fold''.

Here are the links to the two articles...

Let me give you some quotes from the articles....

Headline: Christian Life Center gives back to the community

Opening Statement:

The mission of the Christian Life Center in St. Cloud is simple: Give back to the community.

I don't know about you, but that is an awesome statment and it was written by a news reporter and is the very first thing they said.....

'' Feeling welcome is something they want community members to experience every time they attend. After each Sunday service, there are always refreshments.''

'' The spirit of giving was clear at Saturday’s block party, with free food and other giveaways.''

and ...

'' For more information about the Christian Life Center in St. Cloud visit: www.wherelifebegins.moogo.com''

The Newspaper just linked to the church!  Can you say ''Awesome''?

Headline #2 :Churchgoers gather for party

Opening statement #2:  The mission of the Christian Life Center in St. Cloud is simple: Give back to the community.

This was an exciting weekend for CLC St Cloud and CLC Minneapolis -we had nearly 200 people in the block party with lots of music, Warren's world Famous BBQ, Hot Dog, prizes, baptisms and people praying and seeking the Lord.

Several were baptized and many were touched by the power of God.

In Sunday's service there was a wonderful move of God's spirt - many of the first time visitors promised to come back after experienceing a touch of the power of God that they've never felt before.  This is an area steeped in Lutheran and Catholic tradition and many of these people had never experienced what they did yesterday.

God is moving at CLC St Cloud and CLC Minneapolis -there is excitment and excpetation in air.
