Are you good at making choices? Choices are a part of every day life, something we have to deal with on a regular basis.
I was reading about the TV game show called "Who wants to be a millionaire". Once, on the show it was celebrity week and Actor Drew Carey was playing for a charity and had won $500,000 - and then he was asked the million dollar question...
Who was the first athlete to do the Disney commercial - "Hey you just won the super bowl - what are you going to do now?" "I'm going to Disney World"
A. Doug Williams
B. Marcus Allen
C. Phil Simms
D. Joe Montana
Well, Drew Carey had a choice to make - either he was going to give his final answer or he was going have to take the money & stop, he decided to stop. A choice was made, he stopped and did not earn the Million Dollars. All he had to do was say Phil Simms and he would have earned $1,000,000.00 for his charity. I have to assume that he did not know the answer. Had Carey known more about the NFL, he might have earned that money, but he didn't I find that when we make informed decisions, we make better choices.
If you have read this blog before, I think it is obvious that I am a Christian and that my walk with God is very important to me. Years ago I had to make a choice, I had to decide to be a christian. No one forced me into it, no one made me do it.
If you have ever considered this same choice, I challange you to click on one of my links. You may find the information that you need to make an informed choice.
