Light is always more powerful than darkness
No matter how dark a room is, light is always more victorious. Light always overpowers a dark room. A small candle, small light bulb, a small flashlight will always pierce the darkness.No matter how dark the world seems to you, no matter how dark your situation seems, the light of Jesus Christ will pierce it.
A revival was started in Mexico among the circuses, because a young 10-year-old boy invited a circus performer to church.
A small light pierced that dark world and now untold numbers of circus performers are filled with the Holy Ghost and baptized in Jesus name. There is whole circus's traveling in Mexico that is One God, Holy Ghost Filled, Jesus Name Baptized believers. There are men that are preaching the gospel who came out of those same circuses.

A number of years ago, the Richards Agency were hired by Motel 6 to create some Radio spots to promote their motel chain. They hired a man named Tom Bodette an author and radio personality who was competing with Prairie Home Companion, except his program was set in Alaska. They hired him to do some home-style ads.
IN the first session he tossed in an Ad Lib at the end of the ad and it caught on.
I'm Tom Bodette for Motel 6 and we'll leave the light on for you''
That last second ad-lib became the campaign.
When I worked at Motel 6, there were always some unemployed comedians who would call and ask for Tom Bodette or ask if I left the light on for them. Then they'd walk in as and say hey you left the light on for me (Of course, each one thought that they were the only one to say that… and the 7th or 8th that night)
However this promise is a good word for us because that is what the church is called to do. This is our message for the world: "We'll leave the light on for you." Whether we do it or not determines whether people are kept in the dark or become free to walk in the light.
Just like a plant, with out light a church cannot grow, without light a soul cannot grow.
