Attraction and Lust (Part 1)

I like to read the things that people post on Christian based Internet Discussion boards and find it interesting that attraction and lust are often considered one in the same. This creates false guilt in the hearts of people and can affect their spiritual life.

God created male and female. God created them to like one another and to be attracted to one another. Whether we want to admit it or not, that attraction is a sexual attraction. You see God created humans as sexual beings, with sexual desires and the potential to procreate. Its natural to be sexaully attracted to someone. God's design was male - female attraction. God made them different and he created that desire within you to like what you see.

Example:

When Abraham's servant went in search of a wife for Isaac, what did he notice?

Quote:
Gen 24:16. And the damsel was very fair to look upon, a virgin, neither had any man known her: and she went down to the well, and filled her pitcher, and came up.

She obviously was pretty because her looks caught his eye or he wouldn't have commented about it. Notice that he was also interested in her sexual history, because he commented that she was also a virgin. Another thing to notice about this, is that the author did not say that he was sinning.
