Attraction and Lust (Part 5)

Have you ever talked to someone and they were getting on your nerves? In your mind you slapped them silly and shoved their head in a garbage can! Was that assault? Or was it a temptation?

Jesus was tempted, but did not give in.

We also tend for forget the spiritual realm. There are sexual spirits out there that can pull at you. These things cause sexual thoughts that are not YOUR LUST. Its a spirit, remember? Flee youthful lust? Its not always your lust.

I remember a lady who came to church a few times. She'd walk down the isle and immediately you'd feel a strong sexual attraction. I meant so strong that you literally thought about having sex with her. Every man and teenage boy in that church experienced that as she walked by. When she passed, the thought went away. It later came out that she was demon possessed and she had a demon of sexual lust that just oozed from her.

I once worked with a lady (when I was a temp) who I thought of as ''the gypsy''. Every time I walked into the copy and mailroom when she was there, I felt this overpowering sexual ''spirit''. It went away was she left the room. It was so very weird, and I would avoid her. She was not ugly, but she wasn't Miss America either.

When she smiled, you ''felt'' something sexual that you could not describe. The next thing I felt was ''fear'' a ''fear'' that I could not explain. That fear came from the sexual spirit. I truly believe that the fear was of giving in to that spirit. I was glad when my assignment ended.
