Acts Chapter Three II

8. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.
9. And all the people saw him walking and praising God:
10. And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.

Can you even imagine what it was like to start the day crippled and before that day was over you were walking? Can you imagine just how thankful a person would be? I can't say that I blame him for being so boisterous

Yet…

Just how thankful are we on a daily basis?

Each day that we wake up, get dressed and go to school or work do we ever thank God for that?

Are we thankful for the food we eat?
The car(s) we drive?
Our jobs?
Our bike?
Our stereo?
Our MP3 players?
Our clothes and shoes?

Are we thankful for our blessings or do we take God for granted?

How about our churches and leadership? We have many wonderful churches and fantastic pastors and evangelists who give of themselves to pray for us and teach us and to help us make it to heaven. Do we thank God for them?

Have you ever gone to church in a bad mood and when you left, you were feeling so much better, happier, and cheerier? Did you thank God or did you take him for granted?

What about the times that you are ill and the minister prays for you and you are healed? Do you thank God for that?

Do you ever look at you kids or spouse and Thank God for them?

Are you ashamed to tell others about what God has done for you?

We need to be like that Lame man, unashamed to praise God, unashamed to give him thanks and unashamed to tell others about what Jesus has done.

In everything, give him thanks.
