August 22, 2006 came and went without much fanfare. Too many people, and sad to say Christians were among them, became fearful and look toward that date as ‘’the possible’’ end of life as we know it. Over the years many have tried to guess the day the world will end, the day the rapture will take place and the day the anti Christ till assume the mantle of power.
Too often we base our spiritual views on what we read at the Drudge Report, CNN, FoxNews or whatever our favorite news source is. Remember: God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of love and of power and a sound mind. The media however has given us the spirit of fear.
