Supreme Court issues ruling on gun-control law

The Supreme Court just struck down one of the nation's strictest gun-control laws, according to reports from Capitol Hill.

Justice Antonin Scalia wrote the decision that gives individuals the right to own firearms. Previously Washington, D.C. Banned ownership.

42 states have constitutional provisions protecting our rights to own guns and one city even requires ownership.

Good, bad or indifferent... law abiding citizens have the right to own guns.

Contrary to what liberals and naïve viewers of T.V., gun ownership does not mean shoot outs in the streets. Responsible gun ownership is the key. Hey I don't care if there is a cooling off period (waiting period), go ahead check criminal and mental history prior to gun ownership or permits to carry.

Gun ownership does not mean an increase in violent crime, I am more worried that you can go to the Mall of America and buy switchblades - no background checks - any gang punk can walk in and get one for $10 to $20 dollars. Tell me that those things are purchased to go hunting and fishing?
